Tulsa Rib Company is a barbecue restaurant tucked into the heart of Orange, offering a straightforward, no-frills environment where the focus stays on the food. The space tends to be quieter than some of the louder, trendier BBQ spots, making it a comfortable choice for those who prefer a low-key meal without the hustle of a packed crowd.

The menu revolves around classic barbecue staples, with an emphasis on ribs—baby back, short ribs, and country ribs all show up regularly, often praised for their tenderness and slow-cooked texture. Ribs here tend to fall off the bone and carry a sauce that isn’t too heavy, allowing the meat’s flavor to hold its own. Alongside the ribs, sides like cream corn, cornbread, and potato salad provide that familiar Southern BBQ complement, often described as hearty and generous enough to stretch into leftovers.

Expect a practical and somewhat retro casual dining experience. The seating is straightforward, and service can occasionally be on the slower side, particularly during busier hours, but the staff generally remains courteous and attentive.

Tulsa Rib Company appeals most to locals looking for a solid, no-nonsense barbecue meal without the fanfare. It’s a place you might visit to satisfy a craving for comfort food—especially ribs and chicken—or when sharing a meal that’s both filling and familiar. It’s also a spot where you can drop in on a weekend afternoon and get seated promptly, with the pace of the kitchen matching the calm atmosphere of the room.

One notable quirk is their beverage selection; traditional cola lovers might find the choices limited, leaning more toward alternatives like Pepsi. Beer and wine options are available, adding a modest variety to the drink lineup.

Overall, Tulsa Rib Company fits best for those who appreciate straightforward, flavorful barbecue and sides served in a relaxed setting where the emphasis is more on substance than style. It’s a practical option for locals and visitors alike who want a taste of classic BBQ without the crowds or hype often found at more tourist-focused restaurants in Orange County.

We were craving ribs and ordered some through a delivery service. The sausage and rib plate came with cream corn, fried potato slices and delicious cornbread. The salad was also good. Both plates were enough food to share or split into two meals with one to eat the next day, which we did.

This is one of those "Hidden in plain sight" restaurants. I've never seen it busy but the food is very good. They have a good variety in the menu and offer beer and wine along with soft drinks. Overall, remarkably better than some more well known Orange County BBQ restaurants so I will certainly be visiting again.

Overall a good experience. Lots of flavor and taste. Onion rings, Tulsa chips, potato salad and cream corn were excellent! Ribs and chicken didn't taste very fresh. Carrot cake was just OK compared to places like Stonefire Grill and Pandor Bakery.

Came in on a Saturday afternoon and was seated promptly. Staff was courteous and service was exceptional. The food was absolutely excellent, especially the ribs. Ordered a full rack of baby back ribs and they were falling off the bone effortlessly, cooked to perfection along with the sauce. Cornbread was fluffy and warm, paired well with the butter. Coleslaw was sweet, creamy, and not overly tangy. Mashed potatoes were also creamy, I think some bacon bits would have been a good addition. Fried Mac and cheese and onion rings were excellent as well. Truly no complaints about the food. Well done!

The food is good but the service was slow. I had a coke (Pepsi as they don't have Cole) and it sat empty until we were done with dinner; about 15 minutes.

The food was delicious. The service was fast and efficient. I had the pulled pork sandwich with coleslaw and their specialty garlic butter Tulsa potatoes. The portions were generous. I took home a slice of carrot cake. The slice was enough for a couple of servings.

The baby back ribs just come off the bone. My only compliant is the sides are kinda small but the flavor more than makes up for it. This was also the first time I've ever tried fried mac n cheese.
